Josi's is holding a private social event for special needs families. To bring your child they must be diagnosed with a physical or mental disability. Siblings and family are all welcome. Josi's will have a kids corner, 12 flavors of healthy frozen yogurt, hot and cold refreshments, pizza and lots of games to play. The shop will be closed to the public, doors locked for those runners and lighting turned down for those with sensory processing concerns. Pure fun and anxiety free.

Many farms and vendors of all kinds bring their wonderful, locally grown and locally sourced products to Portage Park 8 Sunday's every summer. There will be local farms, bakers, cheese makers, food to go, and many specialty items as well as a knife & tool sharpener, and a watch battery changer. This Small Business On The Road Expo will have over 40 exhibitors and 2 workshops. There will also be a couple city License experts to help navigate city regulations, as well as a tax clinic, legal clinic, and financial advisers. To add on, there will be a valuable sales pitch training and a consumer corner at the event. The Keynote speaker for the event will be Bob Mariano, the founder of the highly customer focused and successful Mariano's grocery store chain. He was also the CEO of the store's parent company Roundy's until he retired in 2016.

The shredded paper will be recycled after the event and participants are welcome to bring any unwanted documents and files they would like. Parking Day is an annual event where citizens can reclaim parking spaces by transforming them into temporary public spaces. As part of Jefferson Park's mission is to support a robust downtown Jefferson Park, they are opting into participating in the world-wide Park(ing) Day movement. Join them in front of the Jeff Park Transit Center as they turn parking spaces away from cars to active people spaces for a day.
