Community : SUMMER MUSIC SERIES

Introducing the Community Tavern Summer Music Series. One Tuesday evening a month.

This July, Community Tavern is excited to welcome back their talented friends: Leslie Beukelman & Jim Tashjian for their dynamic chemistry both on and off stage. They have played Community Tavern before, but this will be their first appearance together.

Leslie Beukelman and Jim Tashjian have been performing in a multitude of musical contexts for almost 10 years. Whether performing each others original music or curating the appropriate repertoire for various events, they tend to draw from the music closest to their hearts. They will be performing music from the new American songbook to pair with your new American cuisine. As frequent guests of Community Tavern, they are excited to set the mood for a delightful evening of food, wine and song.

$45 per guest.

FILAMENT SUMMER CAMP

Join Filament Theatre's ensemble of spies, sleuths, and detectives for a two week mysterious summer adventure! Nate the Great, Harriet the Spy, Encyclopedia Brown, even Harry Potter-bring your favorite sleuth to life this summer as we learn the secrets of Filament Theatre, visit special sites all around Filament's neighborhood, and learn how to question suspects, collect stories, and build a case!

Campers will learn the fundamentals of Filament Theatre's playmaking techniques, collect daily clues, go to the park for lunch, and work with Filament teaching artists to create and solve a special mystery play of their very own. Register for one session or two, the mystery will change... just as mysteries often do! Family and friends are invited to a special performance on the last Friday of camp at 2:30pm.
