This is a free community-wide outdoor event held in Kilbourn Park, (3501 N Kilbourn Avenue, Chicago IL) that encourages the enhancement of the neighborhood through friendly, lively and neighborly interaction from the entire community, all while bringing the park to life with music, food and fun. This event is produced by the volunteers of the Kilbourn Park Advisory Council in partnership with the Chicago Park District.

SHOWCASE: The Kilbourn Park Advisory Council (KPAC) would like to invite you to become a community partner at this year’s Kilbourn Park Summer Festival (for free)! They just ask that you also include some simple element of engagement or entertainment at your table for the kids in the community attending the festival. Some suggestions for this could be: Arts & Crafts, Bead/Pasta Necklaces, Bounce House, Bubbles, Coloring Pages with Crayons, Dirt & Garden Play, Face Painting, GAMES: (Bag Toss, Bozo Buckets, Giant Lawn Matching Game, Lawn Twister, Limbo, Ring Toss, Mini Golf, Obstacle Course, Potato Sack Race, Simon Says, Water Balloon Toss), Musical Instruments, Sensory Water Pool with Rocks & Shells, Sidewalk Chalk, Sprinkler or Slip 'n Slide, Temporary Hair Coloring, Temporary Tattoos, Wish Tree OR your very own custom creative idea!
DONATE: KPAC is also seeking donations to assist in making this free neighborhood event possible. As a registered 501c3 non-profit and subsidiary of the Chicago Parks Foundation, all donations to the Kilbourn Park Advisory Council are tax deductible. After making a charitable contribution you will receive a written acknowledgment from KPAC of your donation for tax filing purposes under our public charity EIN number 45-4866050.

The Kilbourn Park Advisory Council is a voluntary group of individuals whose mission is to build a stronger community in our neighborhood and the city as a whole. Our dedication to supporting, conserving and enhancing Kilbourn Park and it's facilities enriches the lives of the park’s neighboring residents and the park’s visitors alike. Each and every event that the volunteers of the Kilbourn Park Advisory Council plan, develop and implement for the area's residents, deeply enriches the sense of communal bond and feeling of brotherhood all while raising awareness for our park.
