Help Carlson Community Services kick off the first day of the 2017 gardening season! On Saturday, April 29th, they will be doing a general clean-up, weeding and adding soil nutrients to the raised beds. They may even plant some seeds! Come anytime between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m to Three Brothers Garden, 4107 N. Pulaski. The organic garden donated 712 pounds of fresh vegetables to the Irving Park Food Pantry. There are jobs for all ages. If you have a rigid rake or spade type shovel, bring it along. (Please mark all tools with your name.) Questions? Contact Rebecca Haneberg at rbecca63@sbcglobal.net.
Three Brothers Garden is a Carlson Community Services program. The mission of Carlson, a 501c3 non-profit, is to connect the Irving Park community with programs that enrich lives through education, culture and service.
