When you practice training your breath, you practice training your monkey mind. During this workshop, you’ll explore how you breathe and how to improve how you breathe. You’ll explore several types of breath (pranayama) you can use to help calm you, focus you or invigorate you, all the while keeping your mind smooth. You’ll even learn to strengthen some breathing muscles.
Sarah Landicho earned her 200-hr. teaching certification in 2010 and 300-hr. in 2016. She is also certified in teaching somatics. She teaches vinyasa, restorative and yin.
No experience necessary. Mats and props will be provided at Wildlight Yoga, 4140 N. Milwaukee Ave.
