On July 20th and 21st, the 7th annual Rock the Badges event will turn Milwaukee Avenue at Six Corners into a 2-day street festival. The event raises money for the families of Chicago Police Officers and Chicago Firefighters killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty and the goal is to raise $15,000 each for the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation and Ignite the Spirit.

The most exciting part is all of our very own local businesses who are involved! The list includes: Distinct Bath & Body, TMobile, Verizon Wireless, Today's Avon, Chicago Ballet Center, Josi's, Tatas Tacos, City News Cafe, AT&T, Kingston Reflexology, Fantasy Costumes and a host of sponsors from the area such as Marino Jeep.

Ten of the bands have either a Chicago Police Officer or Chicago Firefighter in the their band. The two headlining bands are Kashmir- A Led Zeppelin Tribute Band and Pearl Jam Tribute.
